Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. is looking for a seasoned professional to lead our OSD packaging operations in Jammu, India. The ideal candidate will manage compliance with cGMP standards and ensure timely product delivery while optimizing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• At least 3 years in a lead role as packing head in a regulated pharma company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all OSD packaging operations in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure achievements of production plans and schedule adherence.
• Optimize manpower and machine utilization.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance to GMP, SOPs, and quality systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead & manage all OSD packaging operations in compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, quality standards and productivity targets & EHS guidelines ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Derive production plan and ensure achievements of production plans, schedule adherence and customer commitments.
• Optimize manpower, machine utilization, monitor OEE and drive continuous improvement and automation.
• Ensure compliance to GMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR documentation and quality systems.
• To work on operational excellence related initiatives and productivity enhancement projects.
• All time readiness for inspection, lead risk assessments and investigation related to market complaints & CAPA implementation
• Reduce deviations, rejections and customer complaints.
• Ensure first time right with zero mix up and labelling errors.
• To make, update and remove destruction material in system.
• To work closely with network strategy team, CFT to resolve challenges in products, supply and transfer.

Educational Qualification

B.Pharma/ M.Pharm. MBA preferred
