The role focuses on operational excellence, store performance, sales productivity and customer experience across the retail network.

The ideal candidate should have 5–10 years in premium/luxury fashion retail, an MBA from a Tier-1 institute, and proven leadership with multi-store management.

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Sales & Operations Head to lead and strengthen retail operations for a prestigious international luxury fashion portfolio.

The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, store performance, sales productivity and customer experience across the retail network. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, commercial acumen and a deep understanding of premium/luxury retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations & Business Performance

• Lead end-to-end retail operations and drive performance across stores.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Drive sales growth, productivity, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Monitor store KPIs and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
• Ensure effective implementation of retail processes, systems and SOPs.

Store & Brand Excellence

• Ensure consistent execution of brand standards and luxury retail protocols across stores.
• Drive excellence in visual presentation, customer service and overall store experience.
• Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of compliance, discipline and operational governance.
• Lead, mentor and develop store and retail operations teams.
• Drive workforce productivity, performance management and employee engagement.
• Build a high-performing culture focused on accountability, service excellence and business results.
• Partner with HR on talent development, succession planning and capability building.

Strategy & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with senior leadership to translate business strategy into retail execution.
• Provide regular insights on store performance, market trends and operational opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, VM and Supply Chain.
• Contribute to business planning, budgeting and profitability initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5–10 years of experience in Retail Operations, preferably within premium/luxury fashion or lifestyle retail.
• MBA from a Tier-1 Institute – mandatory.
• Proven experience managing multi-store retail operations and store performance.
• Candidates from leading organisations such as Titan, ABFRL, Arvind, Bestseller, Apparel Group, Levi’s, etc. would be preferred.
• Strong understanding of luxury/premium customer experience and retail standards.
• Excellent leadership, people management and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Strong commercial orientation with demonstrated business acumen and performance focus.
• Highly analytical, structured and execution-oriented.
• Mumbai-based candidates preferred; open to candidates willing to relocate to Mumbai.
