Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Revenue based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the full revenue engine across demand generation, sales, expansion, lifecycle revenue, and revenue operations.
You’ll identify the biggest constraints to profitable growth, quantify opportunities, and prioritize initiatives based on expected commercial impact.
Working closely with executive leadership, you’ll translate data and customer insights into measurable revenue strategies and execution plans.
You’ll oversee acquisition economics, sales performance, pricing, offers, retention, forecasting, attribution, and experimentation.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on commercial problem‑solving in a fast-moving, highly accountable remote environment.
You’ll also develop leaders, strengthen operating systems, and introduce automation and AI where they can improve efficiency and decision‑making.
Success will be measured through sustainable improvements in cash generation, qualified demand, revenue economics, and scalable growth systems.

Accountabilities
  • Own company-wide revenue growth across demand generation, sales, direct and self-serve revenue, upsells, cross-sells, downsells, saves, referrals, and reactivation.

  • Diagnose the revenue funnel to identify the highest-value constraint before recommending solutions or investments.

  • Build quarterly revenue plans with quantified assumptions, targets, owners, timelines, and expected impact.

  • Lead and coordinate revenue activities across sales, marketing, operations, support, finance, and technology teams.

  • Lead the Sales Director while establishing clear accountability and operating rhythms across the broader revenue organization.

  • Set, monitor, and improve leading and lagging KPIs across acquisition, sales, retention, and expansion revenue.

  • Manage demand-generation economics, including qualified lead volume, cost per qualified request, CAC, ROI/ROAS, and channel-level efficiency.

  • Improve sales performance across consultation volume, revenue per completed call, conversion rates, average order value, show rates, response speed, and forecasting accuracy.

  • Optimize pricing, packaging, offers, promotions, and lifecycle monetization to increase customer value sustainably.

  • Build and maintain reliable revenue operations covering attribution, dashboards, lead tracking, funnel measurement, forecasting, quality assurance, and experiment measurement.

  • Establish a disciplined testing program across acquisition, landing pages, sales, follow-up, email, SMS, direct mail, offers, and expansion opportunities.

  • Design experiments with clear hypotheses, controls, success metrics, guardrails, and decision rules.

  • Improve paid and organic acquisition economics while maintaining sufficient qualified demand for the sales organization.

  • Increase revenue per lead and revenue per customer through improvements in conversion, average order value, offers, upsells, cross-sells, and reactivation.

  • Use AI and automation where they can improve speed, conversion, decision quality, or operating leverage.

  • Develop accurate forecasting and executive reporting so commercial decisions are based on reliable data.

  • Develop leaders, delegate effectively, and hold teams accountable for both results and execution quality.

  • Prioritize resources across initiatives by assessing where additional budget, time, and team capacity can generate the greatest expected incremental value.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of progressively senior experience in revenue, growth, commercial, sales, marketing, or related leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated experience contributing directly to material revenue growth, ideally with clear baselines, outcomes, time periods, and measurable contributions.

  • Experience owning multiple parts of the revenue system, ideally spanning demand generation and sales, lifecycle or expansion revenue, and/or revenue operations.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to connect funnel performance to incremental revenue, cash generation, CAC, and contribution economics.

  • Experience managing leaders and teams, with a focus on building scalable systems rather than relying on individual execution or personal heroics.

  • Strong understanding of experimentation, including hypothesis development, controls, success metrics, guardrails, and interpretation of results.

  • Ability to distinguish correlation from causation and adjust strategies when data challenges initial assumptions.

  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to make clear trade-offs about which initiatives should be pursued, delayed, or discontinued.

  • Excellent forecasting discipline, attention to detail, and ability to establish consistent operating cadences.

  • Experience with revenue analytics, attribution, funnel measurement, reporting, and performance management.

  • Comfortable using AI and automation tools to improve commercial processes, decision‑making, and operational efficiency.

  • Strong cross‑functional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

  • Comfortable operating in a remote, fast‑moving, data‑driven, and high‑accountability environment.

Benefits
  • Fully remote working opportunity.

  • Competitive base compensation.

  • Significant performance‑based bonus tied to cash growth, qualified demand generation, strategic execution, and progress against long‑term revenue objectives.

  • Executive‑level ownership of the full revenue system across acquisition, sales, lifecycle revenue, expansion, and revenue operations.

  • Direct collaboration with senior executive leadership.

  • Opportunity to shape revenue strategy and influence company‑wide commercial priorities.

  • High level of autonomy and responsibility in a data‑driven, results‑oriented environment.

  • Opportunity to lead and develop revenue leaders and cross‑functional teams.

  • Ability to implement new systems, experiments, AI solutions, and automation that improve commercial performance.

  • Broad exposure to acquisition, sales, pricing, monetization, forecasting, experimentation, and revenue operations.
