We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment function and build a scalable talent acquisition strategy. This role will be responsible for driving both internal hiring and client-focused staffing requirements, strengthening recruitment operations, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality talent.
The ideal candidate will combine strong recruitment leadership with hands‑on execution, stakeholder management, workforce planning, and experience managing high-volume and specialized hiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall talent acquisition strategy aligned with business growth and client needs.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the recruitment team, including recruiters, sourcing specialists, and recruitment coordinators.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment across technology, consulting, corporate, and leadership positions.
- Partner with business leaders and client stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and establish hiring priorities.
- Drive timely delivery of qualified candidates against internal and client requirements.
- Establish proactive talent pipelines for recurring and niche skill sets.
- Define recruitment processes, governance, service-level expectations, and quality standards.
- Monitor recruiter performance through metrics such as time-to-fill, submission-to-interview ratio, offer acceptance rate, fulfilment rate, and candidate quality.
- Improve sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, social media, internal databases, and professional networks.
- Strengthen candidate screening, engagement, follow-up, and offer‑management practices.
- Manage recruitment capacity, workload distribution, and hiring forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales, account management, delivery, HR, and operations teams.
- Evaluate and implement recruitment technologies, automation, AI tools, and ATS improvements.
- Build and promote a strong employer brand and positive candidate experience.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, client requirements, and internal hiring policies.
- Provide regular recruitment dashboards and progress updates to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of talent acquisition or staffing experience, including at least 4 years in a recruitment leadership role.
- Proven experience managing recruiters and driving recruitment performance.
- Strong understanding of technology and professional-services hiring.
- Experience supporting both internal recruitment and client staffing requirements.
- Demonstrated success in building talent pipelines and filling niche, high-volume, and leadership roles.
- Strong stakeholder, client, negotiation, and team-management skills.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems, recruitment analytics, sourcing platforms, and job portals.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IT staffing, consulting, or workforce‑solutions organizations.
- Exposure to recruitment across India, Canada, and the United States.
- Experience supporting contract, contract‑to‑hire, and permanent recruitment.
- Familiarity with VMS/MSP‑based client requirements.
- Experience introducing AI, automation, or data‑driven practices into recruitment operations.
