Job summary

Kwan Ventures is seeking a Head of Product Design to own the design vision and drive the evolution of its digital experiences. The role will lead design across the product lifecycle, balancing user needs, business objectives, and product innovation to build intuitive, engaging, and scalable consumer experiences.

The ideal candidate will have 12–18 years of experience in product design, a background in consumer-tech or high-scale digital businesses, and a proven ability to lead and mentor design

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or digital experience design with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall product design strategy, vision, and roadmap.
• Champion user-centric design through research and data-led decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams to translate needs into experiences.
• Own end-to-end design across journeys, IA, interaction, visuals, and prototyping.
• Build, mentor, and lead a design team with a culture of creativity and improvement.
• Drive measurable improvements in engagement, conversion, and satisfaction through design.
• Establish and scale design systems, frameworks, and processes for consistency.
• Leverage AI-led design tools and new interaction paradigms to enhance experiences.

We are looking for a Head of Product Design for a leading consumer-tech company to own the product design vision and drive the evolution of its digital experiences. The role will lead design across the product lifecycle, balancing user needs, business objectives, and product innovation to build intuitive, engaging, and scalable consumer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Define and drive the overall product design strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with business and product priorities.
• User Experience: Champion user-centric design through research, usability testing, customer insights, and data-led decision-making.
• Product Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams to translate consumer needs into impactful product experiences.
• Design Excellence: Own end-to-end design across user journeys, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
• Team Building: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing design team while fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
• Business Impact: Drive measurable improvements in user engagement, conversion, retention, and overall customer satisfaction through design.
• Design Systems: Establish and scale design systems, frameworks, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across products.
• Innovation: Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-led design tools and new interaction paradigms, to enhance product experiences.

Ideal Candidate

• 12–18 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or digital experience design, with significant experience leading design teams.
• Experience in consumer-tech, consumer internet, e-commerce, or other high-scale digital businesses.
• Strong understanding of user research, interaction design, visual design, usability, and design systems.
• Demonstrated ability to connect design decisions with business outcomes and product metrics.
• Experience partnering with senior Product and Engineering leaders to shape product strategy and execution.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to build and scale design teams.
