Job summary

The LHR Group in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Head of Procurement to lead global sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization across engineering, manufacturing, and satellite operations.

You will build a resilient supplier network, negotiate long-term agreements, implement SAP MM/ERP and governance, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver data-driven decisions and strong procurement performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 15+ years of procurement experience including 5–7 years in senior leadership.
• Experience in aerospace/space-tech/defence or complex engineering industries.
• Strong SAP MM/ERP knowledge and supplier development.
• Experience with ITAR, Incoterms and risk management in global supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies, policies, and governance frameworks for global sourcing.
• Lead supplier management, negotiate long-term agreements, and drive cost savings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to optimize budgets.
• Establish procurement SOPs, controls, and digitalization of SAP MM/ERP operations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team with data-driven decisions.
