Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in operations within Wealth Management / Stock Broking / Financial Services preferred.
• Strong understanding of KYC processes, DP operations, fund and trade settlements, and security settlements.
• Knowledge of SEBI regulations and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of KYC, DP Operations, Trade Settlement, and Security Settlement teams; ensure timelines and accuracy.
• Monitor onboarding and KYC processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Supervise DP operations including account openings, modifications, and closures; manage fund, trade and security settlements.
• Lead, train, and manage multiple operations teams; define KPIs and drive process improvements; coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Wealth Managers, and Finance.

Job Title: Head of Operations Organization:

Operations Experience Required: 10+ Years (Wealth Management / Broking / Financial Services Preferred)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Head of Operations to lead and manage end-to-end operational functions including KYC, DP operations, fund settlement, trade settlement, security settlement, and billing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operational processes, regulatory compliance, and strong coordination between internal teams, Compliance & Risk teams, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of:
  • KYC Team
  • DP Operations Team
  • Trade Settlement Team
  • Security Settlement Team
• Ensure all operational activities are completed within defined timelines.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

2. KYC & Compliance Operations

• Monitor onboarding and KYC processes for new clients.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements (SEBI / Exchanges / Depositories).
• Manage audit readiness and documentation processes.
• Coordinate with compliance and risk teams when required.

3. DP & Settlement Operations

• Supervise DP operations including account opening, modifications, and closures.
• Fund settlements
• Trade settlements
• Security settlements
• Ensure smooth coordination with exchanges, custodians, and depositories.
• Liaise closely with the Compliance and Risk teams to ensure operational processes are aligned with regulatory and risk frameworks.
• Handle operational escalations and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee billing processes for clients and partners.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Monitor reconciliation processes and operational risk controls.
• Identify gaps in processes and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, train, and manage multiple operations teams.
• Define KPIs and performance metrics for each team.
• Improve team productivity and reduce operational errors.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.

6. Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with:
  • Wealth Managers / Relationship Managers
  • Compliance Team
  • Finance Team
• Act as the single point of contact for operational escalations.
