Job summary

MSAFE Group is seeking a Head of Engineering & Design – Aluminium Formwork with 10-13 years of experience to lead engineering, product development design, detailing, and technical execution of aluminium formwork systems, ensuring structural integrity and timely project delivery.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams including Civil, Structural, Project, Procurement, Production, and Site teams, reviewing designs, shop drawings, and BOQs, while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering; M.Tech preferred.
• 10–13 years of relevant experience in Aluminium Formwork / Structural & Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering and design of aluminium formwork systems.
• Review structural designs, shop drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Project, Procurement, Production, Planning and Site teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Drive design optimization, standardization, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support for site execution and resolve engineering issues.
• Lead and mentor the engineering/design team and ensure timely deliverables
• Handling all technical queries from client, developers, structural, MEP, and consultants.

Seeking a Head of Engineering & Design – Aluminium Formwork with 10-13 years of experience, preferably in Aluminium Formwork. The role will be leading engineering, product development design, detailing, and technical execution of aluminium formwork systems, ensuring structural integrity, constructability, team handling, quality, cost and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering and design of aluminium formwork systems.
• Review structural designs, shop drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Project, Procurement, Production, Planning and Site teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Drive design optimization, standardization, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support for site execution and resolve engineering issues.
• Lead and mentor the engineering/design team and ensure timely deliverables
• Handling all Technical queries from Client, Developers, Structural, MEP, Architectural Consultants & maintaining high Repo with relevant stakeholders.
• Developing & Maintaining High quality Design parameters & designed standards
• Well versed with AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit or similar software, 2D/3D models’ creation & detailing.
• End to End detail understanding of Design cycles e.g. Area calculations, Load Calculations, Shell Planning, 2D/3D Modulation, Fabrication, Production related detailed designing.
• Should be good in solving customer related real problems & also help in developing new Products, Solution & Services for the organization.

Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering; M.Tech preferred.
• Experience: 10–13 years of relevant experience in Aluminium Formwork / Structural & Civil Engineering.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in engineering design, detailing, shop drawings, BOQ, and formwork optimization.
• Proven experience in project engineering, multidisciplinary coordination, and site technical support.
• Good knowledge of IS/International codes, structural standards, safety requirements, and engineering software.
• Experience in leading engineering/design teams and managing deliverables within cost and schedule targets.
