Job summary

alt.f coworking in India is seeking an experienced interior designer to lead workspace design projects across the country, with a requirement of 10+ years in interior design and a track record of delivering office interiors over 20,000 sqft.

You will mentor a design team, plan layouts for offices and coworking spaces, and ensure compliance with local building codes, safety, and accessibility standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in interior design.
• Past experience of leading and delivering office interior projects of more than 20,000 sqft each.
• Experience of leading a team and managing projects across India.
• In Depth experiential knowledge of building regulations, MEP, fire safety norms and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers and project managers to deliver high-quality workspace designs and end-to-end project delivery.
• Plan and execute layouts and designs for offices, co-working spaces, and corporate environments.
• Develop and maintain design systems, brand guidelines, and visual standards for interiors.
• Create and review 3D models, renderings, floor plans, and mood boards for internal approvals
• Manage vendors, contractors, and procurement for furniture, materials, and installations
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with local building codes, safety, and accessibility standards
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and budget alignment
• Conduct quality checks and due diligence to maintain design integrity and compliance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, operations, management, external vendors, and stakeholders
