Job summary

CanvaLoop is looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager based in Surat, Gujarat to own the entire finance function. The ideal candidate will handle all accounting processes, manage GST filings, and coordinate with CA firms. This role requires 3–7 years of hands-on experience, preferably in a manufacturing or export firm, with knowledge of GST and banking procedures. Qualifications

• Comfortable executing responsibilities without delegation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain all accounting processes and bookkeeping.
• Prepare financial statements: P&L, cash flow, and other MIS.
• Handle all GST and export-related filings.

Job description

Canvaloop converts agricultural waste into sustainable textile fibres (hemp, banana, pineapple). We are a small, funded team and we need someone to own our entire finance and accounting function — end to end, hands-on, with no team below you.

About the Role

Set up, execute, and maintain all accounting processes and book-keeping (Tally / Zoho Books)

Prepare MIS — P&L, cash flow, receivables/payables, working capital — in close coordination with founders

Handle all GST filings — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, and notices

Manage export-related filings — LUT, IGST refund, FEMA compliance, FIRC tracking

Handle banking — fund transfers, CC/OD facility compliance, bank reconciliation, LC/remittance documentation

Coordinate with CA firm for statutory audit, income tax, ROC, and advance tax

Support investor and grant reporting — fund utilisation statements and due diligence data

Requirements

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or above; CA final is a strong advantage

3–7 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or export firm in Surat or Gujarat

Strong working knowledge of GST, export incentives (RoDTEP, IGST refund), and FEMA basics

Experience with banking facilities — CC, OD, EEFC accounts, documentary credit

Comfortable being the sole executor — this is a zero-delegation role in the near term
