Job summary

LANXESS India is seeking a seasoned professional with deep technical knowledge of Tyre & Rubber industry to drive formulation development, customer trials and new applications. You will collaborate with Sales, Global Marketing heads and Application Technology teams to shape product strategy for India and achieve growth from new products.

Qualifications

• MS/Ttech in Rubber/ Polymer technology with in relevant field. PhD is added advantage.
• 15 years plus experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; technical knowledge of Rubber Chemicals & additives; end product application in Tyre & TRG/Latex/Footwear; team handling and coordination; CRM/IBP planning in SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy with Sales, Global Marketing heads, Application Technology Heads/Plants for India.
• Achieve sales of >10% of regional sales from new products for the region.
• Train and Develop sales team & distributor sales persons involved.
• Guide & direct sales team to identify growth projects and maintain focus on them.
• Share success stories within global / APAC teams.
• Plan, develop and execute complex product combinations with stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for existing and new products; present papers at universities/conferences/seminars.
• Troubleshoot at customer sites; coordinate with regional sales managers.
