Job summary

LANXESS is seeking a senior professional with profound technical knowledge of Tyre and Rubber industries, focusing on end-to-end product strategy for India. You will work directly with Sales, Global Marketing heads, and Application Technology teams to drive new product adoption and regional growth.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and familiarity with SAP/CRM systems.

Qualifications

• MS/M.Tech in Rubber or Polymer Tech; PhD adds advantage.
• 15+ years of work experience in rubber/polymer industry.
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership with CRM/SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Align product strategy with Sales and Global Marketing to drive regional growth.
• Train and develop sales team and distributor sales personnel.
• Guide sales team to identify and focus on growth projects.
• Share success stories within global/APAC teams.
• Manage day-to-day marketing programmes to meet business objectives and comply with standards.
• Plan, develop and execute complex product combinations with stakeholders.
• Define and implement focus projects after HO approval.
• Provide technical support for existing and new products; present papers at conferences/universities.
• Troubleshoot at customer sites and coordinate with regional sales managers.

Application knowledge of various Rubber Chemicals & Additivesbased on end application, Formulation development with customers, Make countermeasures to overcome problemss at custome trials. Think new act fast and out of box thinking required to provide right solution to customer for New applications , new business development.

• Directly involved with Sales colleagues & Global Marketing heads,Application technology Heads/Plants to get desired product strategy for India.Achieve sales of >10% of regional sales from new products for the region
• Train & Develop sales team & distributor sales persons involved
• Guide & direct sales team to identify ,maintain focus on growth projects
• Sharing & understanding success stories within global /APAC teams
• Manage day-to–day marketing programmes and activities to meet the organization’s short and long term business objectives, comply with regulations and standards, and protect the organization’s public reputation.
• To plan, develop and execute more complex product combinations together with all stakeholders.
• Responsible for defining & implementation of focus projects after agreement with HO
• Technical support for existing & new products to customer for proper Industrialisation & Present papers in various forums like universities/Conferences/Seminars.
• Troubleshooting at customer sites & co ordination with regional sales Managers. Sharing success stories across globe...

Experience / Skills

• Specific Education MS/Ttech in Rubber/ Polymer technology with in relevant field. PHD is added advantage
• Work Experience 15 years plus experience
• Special Skills Communication and presentation skills , Technical Knowledge of Rubber Chemicals & additives/End product application in Tyre & TRG/Latex/Footwear Segments , Handling Team /Co ordination experience with senior Industry people is must,CRM/IBP planning in SAP knowledge.
