Job summary

Aggreko plc in Pune, India, seeks Head IT – India Manufacturing to lead technology for the site, shaping its IT strategy and roadmap while ensuring global standards are met.

You will drive ERP, PLM, MES adoption, govern site technology, and partner with global teams to balance local needs with scale, security and operational excellence.

Lead cross-functional IT delivery, manage risks, and influence senior stakeholders to enable world-class manufacturing operations at Aggreko.

Qualifications

• Proven IT leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing or industrial facilities.
• Experience delivering complex technology programmes across multiple suppliers and workstreams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cyber security and IT service management.
• Ability to engage effectively from shop-floor to senior leadership.
• Experience with ERP, MES, PLM or related operational technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the IT workstream within the manufacturing program, managing risks and ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives.
• Own the development and execution of the site's technology roadmap, including infrastructure, end-user services, operational technology, and manufacturing systems.
• Act as the primary technology advisor to India Manufacturing leadership, guiding on technology investments, priorities, and risks.
• Partner with global teams to influence the adoption and deployment of enterprise platforms (ERP, PLM, MES), ensuring local requirements are met while maintaining global standards.
• Establish strong governance and supplier management frameworks for all technology solutions, ensuring secure and sustainable delivery in accordance with Aggreko standards.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Head IT – India Manufacturing. The role leads technology for Aggreko's India Manufacturing Facility, driving its tech strategy and IT roadmap. They integrate global digital capabilities like ERP, PLM, and MES solutions. This role provides leadership and governance over site technology, balancing local needs with global standards. The goal is to ensure consistency, scalability, security, and operational excellence while influencing senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

• Define and lead the technology strategy for the India Manufacturing Facility, aligning with Aggreko's global IT vision and strategic roadmap.

You are:

• Proven experience (18+ years) leading IT delivery for large-scale manufacturing, industrial or operational facilities, including site start-up, expansion or transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, end-user computing, cyber security and IT service management disciplines.
• Experience working within a global organisation and operating effectively across multiple geographies, cultures and stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrable experience delivering complex technology programmes involving multiple suppliers, workstreams and business functions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing technology environments and experience supporting or deploying solutions such as ERP, MES, PLM or related operational technologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively from shop-floor operations through to senior leadership teams.
