Job summary

Intelli Search Services in India is seeking a dynamic Innovation & Business Leader to drive development, commercialization and scaling of sustainable packaging solutions. You will lead the Innovation & Business Centre with end-to-end responsibility for business strategy, P&L, innovation portfolio and partnerships.

The role bridges material science, R&D and business development to create scalable, commercially viable, environmentally responsible alternatives to conventional plastic packaging.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years in Packaging, Paper & Pulp, Biomaterials or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles with P&L responsibility.
• Strong expertise in R&D, materials science, cellulose chemistry and sustainable packaging.
• Experience in global customer management, strategic partnerships, licensing and technology scale-up.
• Proven ability to convert innovation into commercially successful products and business opportunities.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Innovation Centre's P&L, financial planning, budgeting and growth strategy.
• Drive innovation across rigid and flexible packaging, biomaterials and waste valorisation.
• Lead end-to-end product development, validation, customer trials and scale-up.
• Build strategic partnerships with global brands, QSRs, research institutions and manufacturers.
• Provide technical direction in cellulose chemistry, material science and manufacturing processes.
• Establish IP protection, product certification, regulatory compliance and sustainability standards.

The role will lead the Innovation & Business Centre, with end-to-end responsibility for business strategy, P&L, innovation portfolio, strategic partnerships and technology commercialisation.

The individual will bridge material science, R&D and business development to develop scalable, commercially viable and environmentally responsible alternatives to conventional plastic packaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Innovation Centre's P&L, financial planning, budgeting and business growth strategy.
• Drive innovation across rigid food-service packaging, flexible packaging, biomaterials and waste valorisation.
• Lead end-to-end product development, technology validation, customer trials, pilot projects and commercial scale-up.
• Build strategic partnerships with global brands, QSRs, research institutions, technology providers and manufacturing partners.
• Provide technical direction in cellulose chemistry, material science, fibre-based materials, formulations and manufacturing processes.
• Establish IP protection, product certification, regulatory compliance and sustainability standards.

Candidate Profile

• 1520 years of experience in Packaging, Paper & Pulp, Specialty Chemicals, Biomaterials or related industries.
