HR Manager / Head of HR & Admin (Senior/Expert)

Role Summary
The Senior HR Manager will own the full HR and admin function for a growing 80+ member organization, mentor and upskill the HR team, and directly address structural people issues, while driving a culture shift towards openness, growth, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR
- Design and implement HR strategy aligned to company growth plans (80+ employees and scaling)
- Build robust hiring, onboarding, performance management, and retention frameworks
- Mentor and guide the existing team to raise the overall HR maturity of the function
- Organizational Culture & Change Management
- Diagnose the root causes of team blocking new hires and design interventions to fix it
- Drive a structured culture-change program values definition, leadership behavior expectations, communication cadence, feedback mechanisms
- Introduce policies/structures (e.g., transparent org charts, succession planning, leadership accountability metrics) that reduce turf-protection behavior
- People Operations
- Own recruitment strategy and ensure hiring isn't bottlenecked by individual team leaders
- Build a fair, transparent performance appraisal and promotion system
- Oversee compensation benchmarking, HR policy design, and statutory/compliance requirements
- Handle escalated employee grievances and conflict resolution, especially cross-team frictions
- Reporting & Governance
- Present HR metrics (attrition, hiring TAT, engagement scores, culture pulse surveys) to leadership monthly
- Set up systems/dashboards for HR and admin visibility across the company

- Policy & Compliance — Updated, well-documented HR policies and full statutory compliance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing HR for a company of 80–200+ employees, ideally through a growth phase
- Strong track record in organizational culture change and leadership behavior management
- Skilled in conflict resolution and influencing senior stakeholders (team leaders who may resist change)
- Sound knowledge of recruitment, performance management, compensation, and labour law/compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management — able to coach both leadership and the entire team
- Experience mentoring/upskilling HR team members
Experience Required
5–12 years in HR, with at least 3–4 years in a senior/HR Business Partner or HR Head role, preferably in a company that scaled from a small to mid-size headcount.
Education
Graduate/Postgraduate — MBA in HR strongly preferred.
