Qualifications

• 18-20+ years of progressive HSEQ leadership experience in heavy engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing or capital projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior HSEQ leadership role with multi-site India responsibility.
• Expertise in statutory HSEQ compliance, contractor governance, incident investigation, audits and emergency response.
• Exposure to ISO 9001/14001/45001 management systems and quality governance.
• Ability to engage regulators, customers and certification bodies.

• Provide strategic HSEQ leadership across multiple sites in India.
• Ensure compliance with Indian safety, health, environmental and quality legislation.
• Lead contractor governance, audits, incident investigations and emergency response planning.

Role & responsibilities

Experience: 18 - 20+ years of progressive HSEQ/EHS/Quality leadership experience, preferably across heavy engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, construction, cranes/lifting, erection & commissioning or capital projects. Minimum 5 years in a senior HSEQ/HSE leadership role with substantial multi-site India responsibility. Proven expertise in statutory HSEQ compliance, contractor governance, incident investigation, audits, emergency response, occupational health, environmental compliance, ISO management systems and quality governance, with demonstrated experience engaging regulators, customers and certification bodies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strategic HSEQ leadership and independent assurance
• Strong knowledge of Indian occupational safety, health, environmental and quality legislation
• Risk assessment, critical-control management and incident investigation
• Construction, lifting/rigging, work-at-height, electrical, fire and machinery safety
• Environmental compliance, pollution prevention and sustainability
• ISO 9001/14001/45001 implementation and auditing
• Contractor and supply-chain HSEQ governance
• Data analytics, digital HSEQ systems and dashboarding
• Strong influencing, communication, stakeholder and crisis-management skills
• Ability to exercise stop-work/escalation authority and challenge senior stakeholders when material risk exists
• Working knowledge of regional languages relevant to major operating locations

We are looking for entry level profiles to mid level for PAN India having an experience of 5yrs to 15yrs for Project locations (preferably for WIND Erection & Heavy Projects - Refineries)
