• Working Capital Management: Optimize cash conversion cycle, focusing on inventory turnover and accounts payable/receivable, and forecast cash flow for production and R&D.
• Closing of Books & Reporting: Oversee month-end and year-end closes, ensure accuracy with statutory standards, and prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and investor decks.
• Fundraising & Investor Relations: Support leadership in capital raising by aiding financial models, pitch decks, and data rooms.
• Internal Controls & Governance: Establish robust internal control systems to safeguard assets, ensure GST and Income Tax compliance, and standardize SOPs across finance and linked departments.

Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to lead our financial operations and support our growth in the manufacturing space. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between day-to-day accounting and high-level strategic planning, ensuring our manufacturing pipeline is well-funded, efficient, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Supply Chain Finance:

• Partner with the operations team to optimize the procurement of components.
• Manage landed cost tracking and variance analysis for raw materials.
• Manage inventory movement across different cycles.

2. Working Capital Management:

• Optimize the cash conversion cycle, specifically focusing on inventory turnover and accounts payable/receivable.
• Manage cash flow forecasting to ensure liquidity for large-scale production runs and R&D cycles.

3. Closing of Books & Reporting:

• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in accordance with statutory standards.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and investor presentations.

4. Fundraising & Investor Relations:

• Assist the leadership team in capital raising activities (Equity/Debt) by supporting the preparation of financial models, pitch decks, and data rooms.

5. Internal Controls & Governance:

• Establish and monitor robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and prevent leakages in the production environment.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations (GST, Income Tax) and statutory audits.
• Standardize Operating Procedures (SOPs) across finance and inter-linked departments.
