Qualifications

• 12+ years of procurement or SCM experience.
• Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or offshore fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of consumables, services procurement, vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Experience in import procurement, LC processes, cost control, and supplier development.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, SCM, Business Admin, or related.
• Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement of consumables including paints and welding supplies.
• Manage services procurement for fabrication, integration, outfitting, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Drive strategic sourcing, RFQs, commercial negotiations, contract finalisation, and cost optimisation.
• Develop, qualify, and manage vendors while monitoring supplier performance and delivery timelines.
• Ensure BOM-based procurement, purchase order compliance, and timely availability of materials and services.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, QA/QC, and other internal stakeholders.
• Manage import procurement, LC processes, and supplier contracts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, environmental, and classification standards.
• Lead the procurement team and establish effective procurement processes and performance metrics.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced procurement leader to drive consumables and services procurement for our shipbuilding, ship repair, and offshore fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, contract management, cost optimisation, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement of consumables, including paints, welding supplies, and other yard materials.
• Manage services procurement for fabrication, integration, outfitting, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Drive strategic sourcing, RFQs, commercial negotiations, contract finalisation, and cost optimisation.
• Develop, qualify, and manage vendors while monitoring supplier performance and delivery timelines.

• Experience in import procurement, LC processes, cost control, and supplier development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
