Job summary

HRD House in Indore is seeking a qualified professional to lead Engineering & Maintenance at the Indore Plant. The role focuses on maximizing plant uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance, with emphasis on MTBF, MTTR and OEE, while managing utilities and ensuring compliance with GMP/GxP and data integrity.

Ideal candidates will have a B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, extensive pharma plant experience, and strong leadership, problem-solving and vendor-management

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with pharma plant Eng & Maintenance experience.
• Expertise in Utilities, HVAC, Facility Management and Equipment Reliability.
• Knowledge of GMP/GxP, Qualification & Validation, RCA/CAPA and TPM/Kaizen.
• Experience in CAPEX/OPEX, vendor management and energy optimization.
• Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall Engineering & Maintenance operations to maximize plant uptime.
• Drive preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance focusing on MTBF, MTTR, and OEE.
• Manage plant utilities including HVAC, electrical, DG, compressors, boilers and water systems.
• Ensure equipment reliability, RCA, CAPA, TPM, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Oversee Engineering CAPEX/OPEX, cost optimization and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, qualification and validation.
• Uphold GMP/GxP, GEP, GDP, Data Integrity, QMS, EHS and statutory compliance.
• Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of observations.
• Handle vendor, contractor, AMC/CMC and critical spare management.
• Lead and develop the Engineering team.
