The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of experience in healthcare IT, strong leadership, and a track record of large-scale transformation across multiple hospitals. This on-site position is based at Kolkata corporate office.

Qualifications

• 15+ years total experience, with leadership experience.
• Strong exposure to HIS/EMR and hospital IT systems.

• Experience in large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of hospital workflows and healthcare IT integration.

• Greenfield hospital project experience preferred.

Role Purpose

To lead and drive the end-to-end digital transformation strategy across all hospitals, enabling improved patient care, operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and scalable technology integration across existing and upcoming units.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement a group-wide digital transformation roadmap.
• Align digital initiatives with clinical, operational, and business goals.
• Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on emerging healthcare technologies.

Hospital Information Systems (HIS) & IT Ecosystem

• Lead implementation, optimization, and integration of HIS / EMR / EHR systems, LIS, RIS, PACS, and ERP.
• Ensure interoperability across all hospital units.

Patient Experience & Digital Platforms

• Drive digital patient engagement initiatives through patient portals, mobile apps, and telemedicine platforms.
• Improve the patient journey through automation and digital touchpoints.

Data, Analytics & AI

• Build a data-driven culture.
• Implement dashboards, BI tools, and predictive analytics.
• Explore AI/ML use cases in clinical and operational areas.

IT Governance, Compliance & Security

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including NABH, ABDM, and data privacy laws.
• Strengthen cybersecurity frameworks and data protection policies.

Project & Change Management

• Lead large-scale IT transformation projects across multiple locations.
• Drive change management and user adoption among clinicians and staff.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage IT vendors, system integrators, and technology partners.
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, and finance teams.

Expansion & Scalability

• Design scalable digital architecture for upcoming hospitals.
• Standardize IT systems and processes across all units.

Key Requirements

• 1520 years of total experience, including 810 years in leadership roles.
• Strong exposure to hospital IT systems (HIS/EMR).
• Experience in multi-hospital or healthcare chain setups.
• Experience in large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of hospital workflows, healthcare IT systems integration, data analytics, and digital platforms.
