Job summary

Freelancer is seeking a Head Cost Accountant in Mumbai. The role reports to the CFO and will lead costing and pricing strategy across the Diamond and Jewellery divisions, including cost visibility, inventory valuation, profitability analysis and pricing.

The role requires 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing costing with strong expertise in inventory valuation, cost control and governance. SAP/ERP exposure is preferred; the position is based on-site in Mumbai with a legacy diamond and

Qualifications

• CA/ICWA/CMA qualification is mandatory.
• 10-15 years of experience in costing roles.
• Strong manufacturing costing experience.
• Expertise in inventory valuation & cost control.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, diamond, jewellery, engineering, metals, FMCG or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead costing & profitability analysis across divisions.

Job Summary

The company is a legacy diamond and Jewellery business established in 1960, with its head office in BKC, Mumbai, and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Navsari, Gujarat. The group has a workforce of around 10,000 employees and more than 15 affiliates globally.

The company deals exclusively in natural diamonds across different shapes, sizes and quality grades and operates across diamond trading, manufacturing and Jewellery.

For this position, the Head Cost Accountant will report to the CFO and will lead costing and pricing strategy across the Diamond and Jewellery divisions, including cost visibility, inventory valuation, profitability analysis and pricing.
