Job summary

Riverforest Connections is seeking a senior energy advisory professional to lead strategic and commercial assignments in renewable energy and power; provide guidance on business strategy, market entry, growth opportunities, investments and portfolio development.

You will lead bid advisory mandates, analyze tariffs, assess competitiveness, and shape commercial structures, while developing and reviewing detailed financial models for energy transition projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in energy consulting, renewable energy, infrastructure advisory, project development, investment, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy and power-sector ecosystem.
• Demonstrated experience in bid advisory, strategic advisory, commercial advisory, or transaction-related assignments.
• Strong financial modelling skills, including project economics, cash-flow modelling, valuation, tariff analysis, returns analysis, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
• Experience with renewable energy, battery storage, hybrid projects, or other energy-transition technologies.
• Energy modelling, power-market modelling, demand forecasting, generation-dispatch modelling, or related analytical experience would be highly desirable.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, team-leadership, and client-facing skills.
• Experience in using machine learning tools and python for energy modelling is preferable.
