Job summary

The Corporate Institute invites a senior compliance leader to head enterprise-wide compliance for NBFC/Housing Finance operations in Gurgaon. The role requires 15+ years of experience, CS + LLB, and proven leadership in regulatory compliance.

You will monitor RBI/NHB regulations, oversee audits, and advise the Board while coordinating with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit and Finance. This is a senior-level position offering significant responsibility in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• CS + LLB is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall compliance function for the organisation.
• Develop, implement, and strengthen the enterprise-wide compliance framework.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, NHB, Companies Act, SEBI and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into internal policies and processes.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, compliance calendars, and statutory filings.
• Establish monitoring, testing, and reporting mechanisms for compliance.
• Advise senior management and the Board on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Manage compliance audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Coordinate with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, Operations, Finance and other functions.
• Identify compliance risks and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop policies, SOPs, governance frameworks.
• Handle regulatory correspondence and ensure timely closure of observations.
