Job summary

SG Oasis is seeking a Head Chef (Caf) in Jaipur/Gurugram to lead kitchen operations, develop menus, and ensure top quality and timely service. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Continental cuisine, excellent English communication, and the ability to manage staff and inventory efficiently.

The position offers on-site work at Sector 61, Gurugram, or Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, with a salary budget of 40,000–45,000 INR per month in-hand. 2–7 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Continental cuisine expertise mandatory with hands-on cooking experience.
• Prepare dishes per caf menu ensuring quality and timely service.
• Maintain hygiene and follow FSSAI guidelines.
• Lead and train kitchen staff; manage inventory and cost control.

Responsibilities

• 1. Continental Cuisine: Strong hands-on experience in preparing Continental dishes is mandatory, along with knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
• 2. Food Preparation: Prepare dishes as per the caf menu, ensuring consistent taste, quality, and timely service.
• 3. Food Presentation: Maintain proper plating, presentation, and portion control for all menu items.
• 4. Kitchen Management: Independently manage daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.
• 5. Menu Development: Assist in menu planning, recipe standardization, and introducing new dishes.
• 6. Team Supervision: Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain productivity and discipline.
• 7. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, check ingredient quality, and ensure timely procurement.
• 8. Cost & Wastage Control: Maintain food costing, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient use of kitchen resources.
• 9. Hygiene & Food Safety: Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards, including applicable FSSAI guidelines.
