Medanta seeks a senior Biomedical Equipment Manager to lead the hospital’s Biomedical Engineering function, optimize uptime, and manage maintenance, calibration, and service contracts. You will coordinate with clinical teams for installation, validation, and budget planning, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 12-15 years of experience, strong knowledge of safety protocols, and proficiency in CMMS and MS Office to streamline asset management and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• UG/B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical required.
• PG/M.Tech in any specialization, MBA/PGDM in any specialization preferred.
• 12-15 years of relevant experience in biomedical engineering management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Biomedical Engineering function and ensure efficient management of all medical equipment across the hospital.
• Plan and manage preventive and breakdown maintenance, calibration, and timely servicing of medical equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability and patient safety.
• Manage AMC/CMC, warranty, service contracts and vendor performance.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning and validation in consultation with clinical and user departments.
• Prepare and monitor the Biomedical CAPEX and OPEX budget.
• Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI, AERB and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory, asset records, service history and maintenance documentation.

Responsible for the installation of medical equipments. Rectify and reduce the breakdown time of medical equipments. Co-ordinate with vendors / company for the spare parts and preventive maintenance schedules. Inventory/ Assets management of medical equipment in the hospital.

• Lead the Biomedical Engineering function and ensure efficient management of all medical equipment across the hospital.
