Job summary

Medanta Hospital, Lucknow seeks a senior Biomedical Engineer to lead the hospital's Biomedical Engineering function. You will oversee management of all medical equipment, plan preventive and breakdown maintenance, and ensure uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate installations, calibrations, and validation with clinical teams, manage budgets, and monitor service contracts and vendor performance for optimal hospital operations.

• Prepare and monitor the Biomedical CAPEX and OPEX budget.
• Ensure compliance with applicable NABH/JCI, AERB and other statutory/regulatory requirements related to biomedical equipment.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory, asset records, service history and maintenance documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Electronics / Electrical Engineering; M.Tech/MBA preferred.
• 12 - 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large multispeciality/superspeciality hospital.
