The Head of Security Automation provides strategic direction and leadership in implementing and managing advanced security technologies across the conglomerate. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, establishing standards, and ensuring optimal performance of security systems in alignment with organizational objectives. The role also encompasses stakeholder collaboration, project governance, and fostering technological excellence to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency across diverse business units
Define and lead the security automation strategy, aligning with the Group Security Head’s vision and the conglomerates goals.
Establish governance frameworks for the deployment, standardization, and maintenance of security technologies across all business units.
Champion innovation by staying abreast of global trends and integrating emerging technologies to future-proof the organizations security posture.
Evaluate and influence policy development to ensure a cohesive approach to technology-driven security initiatives.
Oversee and direct the implementation of cutting-edge security technologies, including AI-driven analytics, IoT devices, and integrated monitoring platforms.
Ensure scalability and sustainability of existing security systems (CCTV, access control, biometrics, etc.) and drive upgrades as needed.
Develop frameworks for automated threat detection, escalation, and response mechanisms to enhance real-time situational awareness.
Advocate for continuous improvement, leveraging data analytics to optimize system performance and detect vulnerabilities.
Provide strategic oversight for large-scale security automation projects, including budgeting, risk mitigation, and resource alignment.
Ensure alignment of project objectives with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
Drive accountability by defining project milestones, KPIs, and quality benchmarks for timely delivery and performance.
Shape the selection strategy for technology vendors, integrators, and solution providers to ensure alignment with organizational standards and long-term goals.
Negotiate high-value partnerships, fostering relationships that deliver cutting-edge capabilities and cost efficiencies.
Monitor and influence vendor performance to maintain robust service levels and technological support.
Institute systems and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and reliability of deployed technologies.
Drive continuous innovation, identifying opportunities for system optimization and automation to enhance operational resilience.
Benchmark performance against global standards to maintain industry leadership in security technology.
Lead and mentor a team of security technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Develop succession plans and capability-building programs to future-proof the security automation function.
