Qualifications

• MBBS, MD, Health Policy & Economics oder MBA.
• 15+ Jahre Erfahrung in Pharma/Biotech, Zugriff, Preisgestaltung, Strategie oder kommerzielle Führung.
• Führungserfahrung mit bereichsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit.
• Tiefgehende Kenntnisse des indischen Gesundheitswesens und Erstattung.
• Fähigkeit zur Führung von Stakeholdern und Verhandlung.
• Ausgeprägte schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.
• Englisch fließend.

Responsibilities

• Preisgestaltung, Marktzugang und Erstattung Strategien entwickeln und verhandeln.
• Patientengruppen und Patient Solutions initiativen führen.
• Verantwortung für Policies in Preisgestaltung, Patient Solutions und Advocacy.
• Aufbau von Beziehungen zu Regierung, HCPs, Patienten- und Kostenträgern.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Disease Area Squads, Commercial- und Medical-Teams bei Produktlaunches.
• Einbindung von Roche-Therapien in Regierungsprogramme (Ayushman Bharat, Staatsprogramme).
• Sicherstellung schneller Produktlistungen mit optimalen Preisen.
• Erkennen von Gesundheitssystem-Trends zur Roche-Strategie.
• Leitung globaler/regionaler Zugänge vor Ort.
• Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorgaben und Roche-Werte.

Job Title: Roche India Pharma - Access & Policy Head

Location: Delhi

Reports to: General Manager

Team: Market Access & Policy, Patient Groups, Patient Solutions

ROLE SUMMARY

Lead strategies and execution to improve market conditions and patient access to Roche innovative medicines in India. Manage access, pricing, reimbursement, and policy work across all products. Oversee patient groups and patient solutions initiatives. Provide Leadership and develop your team to deliver outcomes that align with Roche India Strategy and Viksit Bharat Ambitions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute pricing, market access, and reimbursement strategies; negotiate with payers; manage commercial contracts
• Lead patient groups and patient solutions initiatives to understand and address patient needs and foster sustainable access to Roche innovations
• Ownership of adherence to all internal and external policies relating to pricing, patient solutions and patient advocacy
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (government, HCPs, patient groups, payers) to establish Roche as a trusted partner and shape healthcare ecosystems toward sustainability
• Cross-functional collaboration with Disease Area Squads, Commercial teams and Medical teams to integrate access strategies into new product launches
• Responsible for inclusion of Roche therapies in government insurance and health benefit programs (Ayushman Bharat, state government schemes)
• Ensure fastest possible product listings with optimal pricing and reimbursement access
• Identify healthcare system trends and patterns that inform Roche strategy and positioning
• Lead implementation of global/regional access, and external projects locally
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, industry codes, and Roche values
• Provide visionary leadership to, and coach and develop the overall teams capability in market access, pricing, policy, patient advocacy, and patient solutions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• MBBS, MD, Health Policy & Economics Field Education or MBA
• 15+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry in access, pricing, strategy, or commercial leadership roles
• Mid to senior management experience with cross-functional domain expertise
• In-depth knowledge of drug development, product lifecycle, competitive landscape, and India's healthcare/reimbursement environment
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive organizational change, and manage stakeholder relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to negotiate and influence
• Fluency in English
