Job summary

AKAS Medical Equipment seeks an experienced Hardware Engineer Quality to lead electronic hardware testing, validation, failure analysis, and quality improvement for medical devices.

You will perform PCB testing, troubleshoot failures, analyze components, and ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001. Collaboration with R&D, Production, Service, and suppliers is essential for resolving quality issues.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in hardware testing, electronics quality, hardware engineering, or PCB testing.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
  • Hands-on experience in PCB troubleshooting and hardware debugging.
  • Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, USB, RS232/RS485, CAN, Ethernet.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PCB and electronic hardware testing, inspection, validation, and functional verification.
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures and conduct root-cause analysis.
  • Test and analyze PCBs, electronic components, power supplies, sensors, and communication interfaces.
  • Use testing tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, function generator, DC power supply) for testing and debugging.
  • Perform hardware failure analysis, NCR, CAPA, and corrective action activities.
  • Review schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, datasheets, and engineering specifications.
  • Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection of electronic assemblies.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Production, Service, Purchase, and Suppliers to resolve hardware quality issues.
  • Support product validation, reliability testing, EMI/EMC and electrical safety testing.
  • Prepare test reports, inspection reports, failure analysis reports, and quality documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and medical-device quality requirements.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Hardware Testing, Electronics Quality, Hardware Engineering, or PCB Testing.

  • Hands-on experience in PCB troubleshooting and hardware debugging.
  • Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, USB, RS232/RS485, CAN, Ethernet.
  • Ability to read circuit schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and datasheets.
  • Knowledge of 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA, NCR, and CAPA.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in medical devices / medical equipment / regulated manufacturing is preferred.
Education

B.E. / B.Tech in ECE, EEE, Electronics, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
