Job summary

TRIPhase Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced hardware engineer specializing in Power Electronics and SMPS design. You will work on selecting critical power components, perform pre-compliance testing and EMI/EMC assessments, and review specifications to drive design improvements.

A strong grasp of control theory and circuit simulation with SIMPLIS is essential. You will also simulate motor drive systems, ensuring reliability and manufacturability across projects, with hands-on exposure

Qualifications

• Experience in Power Electronics, SMPS Design, analog & digital electronics.
• Review specifications and propose engineering or manufacturing changes.
• Understanding of classical and modern control theory.
• Circuit simulation using SIMPLIS and related tools.
• Simulation and verification of motor drive systems; reliability and pre-compliance testing.
• Work experience in core industry in the defined field is a must.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Experience in

Power Electronics , SMPS Design, Analog & Digital Electronics

Selection and integration Critical Power and control components for the Application

Hardware pre-compliance testing (Reliability test) & EMI-EMC testing

Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve design objectives

Understanding of classical and modern control theory

Circuit simulation tools such as SIMPLIS and equivalent and thermal design

Simulation, analysis and verification, of Motor drive systems, and enforcing the technology development process for various technical projects from research through to Design for Manufacturing. Including Reliability Testing and pre-compliance testing.

Work experience in core industry in defined field is must

Preferred candidate profile

Power Electronics (SMPS Design, Analog & digital electronics)

Through knowledge of Test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, logic analyzers, function generators, electronic load banks, power supplies, and power analyzers

Exposure and hands on experience in different micro controller platform along with the hardware design
