Role Description

The Obstetrician & Gynecologist at Bavishi Fertility Institute in Ahmedabad will provide comprehensive gynecological and obstetric care to patients, with a particular focus on pregnancy care , emergency care, fertility-related evaluation and treatment.

Please note there will be both obstetrics and fertility related work.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting taking rounds, attending emergencies, outpatient consultations, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and treatment. The role involves performing gynecologic procedures and surgeries as indicated, managing early pregnancy and reproductive health issues, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and ethical practices. The Gynecologist will work closely with infertility consultants, counselors, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care and provide clear communication and counseling to patients and their families. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Mumbai center.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine with specialized training in Gynecology and Obstetrics M.D/M.S. / DNB/ DGO
• Clinical expertise in Gynecology, including diagnosis and management of reproductive health and fertility-related conditions.
• Basic expertise in gynec and obs ultrasound is preferred.
• Proficiency in Gynecologic Surgery and relevant surgical procedures, with safe and evidence-based practice.
• Ability to integrate medical and surgical approaches to provide comprehensive fertility and reproductive care.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB) in Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent.
• Valid medical registration/license to practice, in compliance with relevant regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and high-quality clinical care.
