Samarpan Hospital in Hisar, Haryana seeks an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist to lead OPD, perform OB-GYN ultrasound, manage deliveries, and supervise inpatient care. You will handle labour Ward duties and assist in surgical procedures under senior supervision.

Ideal candidates hold MBBS with MS/MD/DNB/DGO in Obstetrics & Gynecology, 3–5 years of clinical practice, and valid registration. Strong communication and emergency readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MS/MD/DNB/DGO in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience (freshers with valid postgrad degree allowed).
• Basic to intermediate ultrasound skills in OB-GYN.
• Valid Medical Council Registration (State/NMC).
• Strong communication and ability to work in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• OPD Management: daily Gynaecological and Obstetric consultations and treatment planning.
• USG: routine obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound scans.
• Obstetric care & deliveries: manage vaginal deliveries; assist/perform C-sections under supervision.
• Inpatient & Ward Management: ward rounds, post-op care, triage in Labour Ward.
• Procedures & Assistance: assist seniors in laparoscopic, hysterectomy, D&C, etc.
• Emergency Care: handle obstetric and gynecologic emergencies during duty hours.

Job description

Role & responsibilities -

• OPD Management: Conduct daily Gynaecological and Obstetric Outpatient consultations, diagnose illnesses, and formulate treatment plans.
• Ultrasonography (USG): Perform routine Obstetric and Gynaecological ultrasound scans (Fetal Monitoring, Pelvic USG, etc.).
• Obstetric Care & Deliveries: Manage normal vaginal deliveries, assist in or independently perform instrumental deliveries and Caesarean sections (C-Sections) under senior supervision.
• Inpatient & Ward Management: Oversee patient admission, ward rounds, post-operative care, and emergency triage in the Labour Room / Maternity Ward.
• Procedures & Assistance: Assist senior Gynaecologists in minor/major surgical procedures (Laparoscopy, Hysterectomy, D&C, etc.).
• Emergency Care: Handle obstetric and gynaecological emergencies during designated duty hours.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: MBBS with MS / MD / DNB / DGO in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant clinical experience (Freshers with valid post-graduation degree/diploma are welcome).
• Technical Skills:
  
• Basic to intermediate hands‑on ultrasound scanning skills in OB‑GYN.
• Proficiency in handling labour room procedures and managing deliveries.
• Registration: Valid Medical Council Registration (State Council or NMC).
• Soft Skills: Strong patient communication skills, compassionate bedside manner, and ability to work efficiently in emergency settings.
