Job summary

BlitzenX is seeking a skilled Guidewire Portal Developer to design, develop, and maintain customer, agent, and service portals integrated with Guidewire InsuranceSuite.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Guidewire Digital applications, Guidewire Jutro, Guidewire Cloud, REST APIs, and modern front-end technologies such as React and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field
• 3–8 years IT experience
• 2–5+ years Guidewire Digital/Portal development
• Strong React and TypeScript experience
• Experience integrating Guidewire apps via REST APIs
• Understanding of responsive web design and UI/UX principles
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Guidewire Digital Portals using Guidewire Jutro.
• Design and implement customer, agent, and broker portal solutions.
• Integrate portals with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive UI components using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Customize portal workflows, forms, and user journeys.
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, SSO, and OpenID Connect.
• Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, architects, and QA teams.
• Optimize portal performance and accessibility.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
