Job summary

BlitzenX is seeking a skilled Guidewire Digital Portal Developer in India to design, develop, and implement digital insurance portals using the Guidewire Digital platform (Jutro/CustomerEngage). • Hands-on with Guidewire Jutro and/or Guidewire CustomerEngage.
• Strong front-end skills: React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience integrating with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter via REST APIs.
• Familiarity with OAuth/JWT authentication, Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire Digital Portal applications using Guidewire Jutro/CustomerEngage.
• Build responsive, user-friendly web applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Integrate Digital Portal applications with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter using REST APIs.
• Customize Guidewire Digital components, pages, workflows, and branding based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, UX designers, QA teams, and Guidewire application developers.
• Develop reusable UI components and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Create technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Guidewire Digital Portal development.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Jutro and/or Guidewire CustomerEngage.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience integrating Guidewire Digital applications with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire Digital certification.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Node.js and modern front-end build tools.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of P&C insurance products and business processes.
• Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant Guidewire certifications are preferred.

Experience

• 3–8 years of overall IT experience.
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Digital Portal (Jutro/CustomerEngage).

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and automated testing frameworks.
• Exposure to Guidewire InsuranceSuite upgrades and cloud implementations.
