Job summary

BlitzenX is seeking an experienced Guidewire Cloud Integration (IG) Developer to design and implement cloud integrations using Guidewire Integration Gateway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in REST APIs, messaging frameworks, and enterprise integration patterns within the Property & Casualty insurance domain.

Key responsibilities include developing integration services, troubleshooting issues, and participating in solution design discussions. Strong technical skills and experience with Guidewire applications are essential.

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway (IG).

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Cloud Integration (IG) Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite integrations on the Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will design, build, and support integrations using Guidewire Integration Gateway (IG) and related cloud‑native integration frameworks. The role requires strong technical expertise in APIs, messaging, and enterprise integration patterns along with solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integrations using Guidewire Integration Gateway (IG) in cloud environments.
• Build and maintain REST‑based APIs and event‑driven integrations across Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
• Develop integration services using cloud‑ready architecture and Guidewire best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and downstream systems teams to define integration requirements.
• Support data exchange between Guidewire InsuranceSuite and external systems (payment gateways, document systems, third‑party APIs, etc.).
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis in production and non‑production environments.
• Participate in solution design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of integration components.
• Support Guidewire Cloud upgrades and migration activities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway (IG).
• Strong expertise in:

  • JSON / XML
  • Messaging frameworks
  • Web services (SOAP preferred)
  • Integration patterns (sync/async, event‑driven)
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter integrations.
• Strong programming skills in Java / Gosu (preferred).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.

Insurance Domain Skills

• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
• Knowledge of insurance processes such as:
  • Policy lifecycle
  • Claims processing
  • Billing operations
• Exposure to North American insurance markets is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Guidewire Cloud APIs and event model.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kafka / MQ / middleware tools (MuleSoft, Apigee, etc.).
• Experience in Guidewire upgrade or migration projects.
• Agile / SAFe delivery experience.
