Job summary

BlitzenX is seeking a Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Developer to design and implement integrations for PolicyCenter. You will leverage Gosu and the Guidewire Integration Framework to build scalable insurance solutions, including SOAP/REST services, messaging, and Java-based components.

The role involves integrating PolicyCenter with BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, CRM, and payment gateways, using XML/JSON, WSDL, and related technologies.

Qualifications

Must have strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter integration
Proficient in Gosu programming and Guidewire Integration Framework
Experience building SOAP/REST services and messaging integrations
Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle or SQL Server
Familiarity with XML/JSON, WSDL, and data interchange protocols
Experience with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes and TDD/unit testing
Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize integrations
Collaborate with architects, QA, and business analysts to deliver robust integrations
Cloud and containerization experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain integrations for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Develop SOAP and REST web services using Guidewire Integration Framework.
Create inbound and outbound messaging integrations.
Develop and customize PolicyCenter using Gosu.
Integrate PolicyCenter with BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, CRM, and payment gateways.
Work with XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, and messaging tech.
Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance.
Participate in design reviews, unit testing, and deployments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement them.
Follow coding standards and security guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain integrations for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Develop SOAP and REST web services using the Guidewire Integration Framework.
Create and maintain inbound and outbound messaging integrations.
Develop and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu.
Integrate PolicyCenter with external systems such as BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, CRM, document management systems, and payment gateways.
Work with XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, and messaging technologies.
Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize application performance.
Participate in system design, code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather and implement requirements.
Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
Support production issues and perform root cause analysis.
