Job summary

Coforge in Hyderabad invites an experienced Guidewire Claims Developer to join our team. You will design, develop, and implement solutions in Guidewire ClaimCenter, extending the data model, configuring PCF, and building Gosu classes for business logic.

You will integrate with REST/SOAP services, handle messaging queues, perform unit tests and code reviews, and collaborate with BAs, QA, and stakeholders. This role requires 4–12 years of hands-on Guidewire experience and a passion for quality,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and related tooling.
• Strong Gosu and Java programming skills.
• Experience integrating Guidewire with REST/SOAP services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions.
• Configure PCF and extend data model with new fields/entities.
• Develop Gosu scripts and business logic; perform unit testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and stakeholders; support production issues.

• Design, develop, and implement solutions in Guidewire ClaimCenter
• Configure and customize ClaimCenter components such as:
• PCF (Page Configuration Files)
• Business Rules (Validation, Assignment, Workflow)
• Typelists and Entities
• Extend the data model by adding new fields and entities
• Develop Gosu scripts and classes for business logic
• Work on integrations using:
• REST/SOAP web services
• Messaging queues (asynchronous communication)
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and defect fixingCollaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders
• Support production issues and enhancements
• Guidewire certification is mandatory

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter
• Proficiency in Gosu and Java
• Experience with:
• PCF configuration
• Business rules & workflows
• Data model extensions
• Good understanding of web services (REST/SOAP)
• Basic knowledge of SQL

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Guidewire Cloud or latest versions (ClaimCenter 9/10+)
• Exposure to integration frameworks and plugins
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging
