Job summary

ValueMomentum is seeking a Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst to lead business analysis for enterprise insurance transformations. You will gather, analyze, and document requirements, translate them into specifications for Development and QA, and participate fully in Agile SCRUM ceremonies.

The ideal candidate has deep Guidewire ClaimCenter expertise, strong UAT and API understanding, and experience in P&C Insurance.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong Guidewire expertise in P&C Insurance

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Development and QA teams.
• Work on Agile (Scrum) projects, participating in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Create User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and business documentation using Gherkin language.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate business functionality against requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to optimize insurance workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams on APIs, application integrations, and microservices.
• Independently manage business analysis activities while providing regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve business and functional challenges.

As a Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business analysis activities for enterprise insurance transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements while ensuring successful implementation of Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, Agile delivery methodologies, requirement analysis, user story creation, and the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), API understanding, and Guidewire integrations will be an added advantage.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter and the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and working knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Strong experience working on Agile/Scrum-based software development projects.
• Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Experience interacting with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Hands-on experience writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria using Gherkin language.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Working knowledge of APIs, application development, and microservices.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good To Have

• Guidewire Business Analyst Certification.
• Experience with Guidewire integrations and API-based implementations.
• Knowledge of the Insurance Claims lifecycle and ClaimCenter configuration.
• Exposure to Digital Transformation initiatives within the P&C Insurance domain.
