• 12+ years of overall IT experience with significant Guidewire InsuranceSuite experience.
• Minimum 5+ years hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter implementations.
• Strong expertise in Guidewire Architecture, solution design and technical leadership.
• Experience with Guidewire in Cloud and On-Premise environments; SDLC/Agile knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Guidewire development teams to ensure technical excellence.
• Design scalable architecture and Guidewire solution designs for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Prepare architecture documents, data models, business rules and technical specs.
• Lead PoCs, architecture reviews, and oversee complex requirements.
• Configure Guidewire components using Gosu, PCF, Wizards, and Product Designer.
• Coordinate onsite-offshore delivery and provide regular status updates.

As a Technical Architect – Guidewire, you will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale Guidewire InsuranceSuite solutions that enable digital transformation across the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance value chain. You will be responsible for driving technical solutioning, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring scalable, high-quality implementations aligned with business and technology objectives.

The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, along with strong architectural knowledge, cloud implementation experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Guidewire development teams while driving technical excellence across project deliveries.
• Design scalable architecture and technical solutions for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter implementations.
• Prepare and review architecture documents, solution designs, field mappings, data definitions, business rules, and technical specifications.
• Lead solution discovery, proof of concepts (POCs), and architecture reviews for complex business requirements.
• Configure and develop Guidewire components using Gosu, PCF, Wizards, Data Model, Workflow, Activities, and Product Designer.
• Design reusable Guidewire components and accelerators to improve delivery efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, SMEs, and project teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend effective architectural solutions and workarounds.
• Guide engineering teams in adopting Guidewire architectural standards, coding best practices, and development methodologies.
• Coordinate onsite-offshore delivery teams, oversee task allocation, monitor project progress, and provide regular status updates to customers and leadership.
• Ensure successful implementation across both Guidewire Cloud and On-Premise environments.

Requirements

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementations.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter implementation, configuration, customization, solution design, and post-production support.
• Strong expertise in Guidewire Architecture, Solution Design, and Technical Leadership.
• Hands-on experience implementing Guidewire solutions in both Cloud and On-Premise environments.
• Strong experience configuring Guidewire components including Transactions, Job Configuration, LOB Implementation, Forms, Administration, Account & Contact Management, Data Model, Workflow, Activities, Product Designer, Gosu, PCF, and Wizards.
• Experience with advanced Guidewire capabilities including Integration Gateway, AppEvents, Autopilot Workflows, and Guidewire GenAI.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience designing and implementing complex business rules and enterprise integrations.
• Working knowledge of application servers such as IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, and Tomcat.
• Experience with relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
