Job summary

Qualifications

Job Description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Guest Services Assistants for the upcoming winter season. This is a hands-on, all-rounder role that touches every part of the guest journey, from warm welcomes and clean spaces to restaurant service and resort driving.

As a Guest Services Assistant, you will work across multiple departments and be an essential part of creating a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. You’ll need to be proactive, reliable, and always open to learning new skills in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively across departments, providing support wherever needed with a positive and adaptable attitude
• Perform housekeeping duties, including daily and mid-stay cleans, and detailed pre- and post-arrival inspections
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming chalet environment at all times
• Deliver a seamless and professional check-in and check-out experience for all guests
• Communicate effectively with guests via phone, email, OTA platforms, and in person, ensuring timely and professional responses
• Provide local knowledge and assist with bookings for restaurants, activities, and other guest requests
• Manage pre-arrival information and assist with administrative tasks such as payment processing and booking coordination with strong attention to detail
• Safely transport guests within the resort area when required
• Assist with snow clearing of vehicles and walkways to ensure guest safety and accessibility
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and consistently high service standards
• Support food and beverage operations, including breakfast service, bar and restaurant assistance, and kitchen porter duties
• Carry out any additional duties as required by management

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in customer service or the hospitality industry is preferred
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills, particularly Japanese, are a plus
• Must have, or be eligible for, a Japanese Working Holiday Visa
• Previous hospitality experience in housekeeping, front desk, or guest services
• Valid international driver’s license (eligible to drive in Japan)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Strong communication skills and a guest-focused attitude
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• High level of attention to detail and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Conversational English required; additional languages (especially Japanese) are a bonus
