Job summary

Birlasoft seeks a GTM Consultant / GTM Project Lead to drive global trade management implementations. You will lead end-to-end delivery, coordinate with clients, and manage project scope and timelines across multiple GTM modules.

The role requires substantial domain expertise in trade compliance, configuration, and integration with ERP systems, ensuring high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Primary Skills & Expertise

• Extensive hands-on experience with GTM (Global Trade Management) implementations End-to-end project management and delivery of GTM solutions Strong understanding of trade compliance, customs, and related trade processes Techno-functional expertise in GTM modules

Preferred Skills & Expertise

• Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, BI Publisher XML, MS-Office tools Basic understanding of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) Experience with integration layers such as OIC, Boomi, MuleSoft, SOA

Roles & Responsibilities

GTM Implementation & Management:

• Lead and execute end-to-end GTM projects (minimum of 3 successful implementations)
• Manage project accounts, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction
• Configure GTM modules and manage upgrades, including new feature rollouts

Stakeholder Interaction & Communication

• Maintain daily communication with clients and stakeholders for project updates, requirements, and change requests
• Gather customer requirements, understand supply chain business processes, and translate them into functional specifications

Technical & Functional Configuration

• Configure GTM modules such as Trade Compliance Management, Screening, License Management, Customs Filing, Trade Agreements, and Incentive Programs
• Create and manage agents, saved queries, custom actions, screen sets, user preferences, and workbenches
• Understand and support integration with ERP systems like EBS, JDE, Fusion, SAP via OIC, Boomi, MuleSoft, or SOA

Process & Documentation

• Develop and enforce standards and processes for project execution
• Prepare test data, conduct internal and user acceptance testing, and support go-live activities
• Document project deliverables, configurations, and functional specifications

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Manage quarterly GTM upgrades and incorporate new features
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Coordinate administrative processes and stakeholder expectations effectively
