Ford Hospital and Research Centre (FHRC) invites an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver group-level hospital projects within approved scope, timeline, budget and quality.

You will drive operational improvement, technology implementation, infrastructure development and strategic transformation across units, with strong vendor and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• BTech/BE or MBA/MHA or equivalent qualification.
• 6–10 years of project management experience in healthcare, infrastructure or technology.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma certification is advantageous.
• Strong planning, budgeting, vendor management, Excel and project platform capability with travel across units.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver group level hospital projects within approved scope, timeline, budget and quality.
• Convert management objectives into scope, deliverables, work plans, budgets, milestones and owners.
• Monitor progress against plan, identify delays early and implement recovery actions.
• Coordinate Centre Heads, HoDs, consultants, contractors and technology vendors.
• Coordinate HIMS, HRMS, patient applications, reporting systems and digital implementation.
• Maintain risk and issue registers and submit dashboards covering progress, cost, delay, risk and decisions.
• Complete handover, training, documentation, handover and benefit tracking.

Role & responsibilities

To plan, coordinate and deliver group level hospital projects within approved scope, timeline, budget and quality. The role covers operational improvement, technology implementation, infrastructure, expansion and strategic transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Governance

• Convert management objectives into scope, deliverables, work plans, budgets, milestones and owners.
• Define dependencies, review cycles, change control and escalation mechanisms.

Execution Timeline and Cost

• Monitor progress against plan, identify delays early and implement recovery actions.
• Track budgets, variations, approvals and cost overruns and verify deliverables before payment recommendation.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate Centre Heads, HoDs, consultants, contractors and technology vendors.
• Conduct structured reviews with minutes, accountable action owners and deadlines.

Technology Process and Infrastructure Projects

• Coordinate HIMS, HRMS, patient applications, reporting systems and digital implementation.
• Manage process mapping, configuration, testing, training, adoption and issue closure.
• Coordinate renovation, unit development, equipment installation and commissioning with minimal disruption.

Risk Reporting and Handover

• Maintain risk and issue registers and coordinate Quality, Infection Control, Biomedical, IT and Maintenance requirements.
• Submit dashboards covering progress, cost, delay, risk, decisions and support required.
• Complete user acceptance, training, documentation, handover and benefit tracking.

Preferred candidate profile

• BTech or BE, MBA, MHA, Hospital Management, Project Management or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably 6 to 10 years of project management experience in healthcare, infrastructure or technology.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma certification is advantageous.

Overall Accountability

The Project Manager must own delivery from approval through handover, ensuring measurable results within agreed scope, timeline, budget, quality and operational requirements
