Europa Locks is seeking a safety leader to manage Plant SHE with 5–7 years of experience. You will conduct risk assessments, develop SOPs, and implement PTW for high-risk activities. The role includes incident investigations, CAPA, audits, and continuous safety improvements across the plant.

You will drive safety training, monitor KPIs, and lead a Safety Committee in collaboration with HR and operations. The position requires ADIS or related degrees and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Mandatory ADIS approved by MSBT.
• Diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering acceptable as alternative.
• Strong knowledge of safety laws, compliance and environmental regulations.

Responsabilités

• Conduct risk assessments, JSA, and prepare SOPs for processes.
• Identify hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures; monitor PTW for high-risk tasks.
• Investigate incidents using RCA, Why-Why, and Fishbone; implement CAPA actions.
• Ensure timely reporting of accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences as per regulations.
• Conduct mock emergency drills and evaluate response system effectiveness.
• Monitor hazardous waste management and maintain compliance records.
• Assist audits and ISO 45001/ISO 14001 systems; support internal/external inspections.
• Track safety KPIs like AFR, ASR, near-miss trends, and observations.
• Develop and monitor SHE policies, procedures, and programs across plant operations.
• Deliver safety training for new joiners; promote safety awareness among staff.
• Lead Safety Committee meetings and drive safety culture with HR and departments.
• Maintain safety records and documentation as required by law and company.

• Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and prepare Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs).
• Identify potential hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures. Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities such ashot work, confined space entry, work at height, and electrical work.
• Conduct detailed accident/incident investigations using methodologies such as RootCause Analysis (RCA), Why--Why Analysis, and Fishbone Diagram, and implementCorrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Ensure timely reporting of accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses as perstatutory requirements and internal protocols.
• Conduct mock drills for emergency preparedness (fire, chemical spill, evacuation,etc.) and evaluate effectiveness of emergency response systems.
• Monitor hazardous waste management, disposal practices, and maintain records as perapplicable rules.
• Conduct internal safety audits and support external audits, statutory inspections, and ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 systems.
• Track and analyse safety KPIs such as Accident Frequency Rote (AFR), AccidentSeverity Rate (ASR), near-miss trends, and safety observations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct safety training programs for new joiners and employees and promote safetyawareness across the plant.
• Carry out Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) observations and implement initiatives to improve safe behaviour on the shop floor.
• Lead Safety Committee meetings and drive safety culture initiatives in coordinationwith HR and other departments.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation as per legal and organizational requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement by implementing best practices and learnings from incidents.

Competency (Candidate Profile)

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Plant SHE / Safety Management. Education:
• Mandatory: ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) approved by MSBT Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical OR B.Sc. / B. E / B.Tech
• Strong knowledge of safety laws, statutory compliance, and environmental regulations.
• Hands-on experience in safety audits, risk assessment, and incident investigation. Good communication, leadership, and training skills.
• Ability to drive safety culture and work with cross-functional teams.
