Job summary

AIS in Pune invites applications for Group Leader Production to drive daily production targets and TPS initiatives. Lead line teams, ensure in-process quality and maintain equipment as per schedule.

The ideal candidate holds BE Mechanical or DME/DEE with 4 years in sub-assembly, and demonstrates analytical thinking, leadership, and strong MS Office skills. PLC basics and glass/assy process knowledge are desirable.

Qualifications

• B.E Mechanical or DME/DEE with 4+ years of experience.
• TPS Basic Knowledge required.
• Basic Quality management understanding is required.
• Basic electrical circuits knowledge is helpful.
• Basic PLC knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production targets and maintain line performance.
• Implement TPS according to schedule and drive time & motion studies.
• Apply PDCA, Kaizen and 5-S on the shop floor.
• Maintain and service production equipment as per schedule.
• Drive suggestion scheme and implement improvements.

Cost Controlling Cost of P oor Quality ( ,Inprocess rejection ,Overtime Cost) 1) To Ensure Incoming , inprocess rejection cost as per target.

• To ensure per man per month OT hours as per target. 3) To ensure production consumable cost as per target.

Customer (Internal ) Control Inprocess rejection 1) To ensure & control internal PPM as Per target.

• incoming & process rejection reconciliation on daily basis.

Process / System 1. Meet Daily production as per target 2) TPS implementation as per schdule /Timeline 3 ) Time & Motiuon study of linewise for process improvements. 1) Ensure the daily production plan vs actual 2) Ensure TPS Implementation as per the plan 3) To ensure PDCA,Kaizen & 5-S as per target. 4) Ensure all the Production Related Equipment are
maintained & serviced as per schedule 5) Driving the suggestion scheme on the shop floor and implement the same 6) SPM & Automatition fixture programme setting & its in under control with Lock & Key

People Development & Innovation 1.Training to associate as per Schedule ( E&T Implementation) 1) To ensure the training to Associates & supervisors on time.
