You’ll create graphics for long‑form YouTube videos (lower thirds, infographics, chapter cards, end screens, annotations) and produce high‑impact thumbnails for both long‑form and short‑form content. You’ll also support LinkedIn and X posts with on‑brand visuals. This is a production‑heavy, fast‑turnaround role collaborating closely with editors and the content team.
Employment: Full‑time or Contract (Agencies & Freelancers welcome)
Location: Remote or on‑site (collaborate during India Standard Time core hours)
Reports to: Creative Lead / Head of Content

Key Responsibilities
- Design graphics and visual assets for long‑form YouTube videos: lower thirds, callouts, info cards, charts, overlays, and motion‑ready frames for editors.
- Create scroll‑stopping YouTube thumbnails for long and short content—multiple variations per video when needed.
- Produce image assets for LinkedIn and X (static and lightweight animated where applicable), adapted from video content and brand guidelines.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity across channels; evolve thumbnail templates and style guides.
- Collaborate with video editors to deliver assets quickly during working hours; incorporate feedback and iterate rapidly.
- Prepare clean, well‑organized source files (layered PSD/AI/FIG) and exports (PNG/JPG/SVG) with correct naming and versioning.
- Source licensed imagery, icons, and type; ensure compliance with usage rights.
- Contribute ideas to improve click‑through rate (CTR) and audience retention through design.
What success looks like
- Quality: Thumbnails that align with the benchmark above and meet platform best practices (legible at small sizes, strong focal point, minimal text).
- Impact: Improved CTR on new uploads vs. prior channel baseline; consistent brand look across YouTube and socials.
- Collaboration: Positive feedback from editors on availability, responsiveness, and clarity of files.
Must have
- 1‑3+ years designing for YouTube or creator‑led brands (portfolio required).
- Proven track record of successful YouTube thumbnails and social graphics.
- Mastery of composition, color, hierarchy, and typography for small‑canvas legibility.
- Expert in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; working knowledge of Figma.
- Comfortable preparing assets for motion (After Effects‑friendly frame setups, alpha exports).
- Strong file organization and version control.
Nice to have
- Basic motion graphics (AE/PR) for simple animations.
- Photo compositing and retouching.
- Illustration or 3D skills (Blender/C4D) for premium thumbnail treatments.
- Understanding of YouTube analytics (CTR, A/B testing) and social trends.
Working hours
- Be online and responsive during core collaboration hours: 10 AM IST To 6 PM IST
- Respond to editor requests promptly; flag blockers early.
- Comfortable with quick turnarounds and iterative feedback cycles.
Tools we use
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (required)
