The role requires 1–3 years of thumbnail design experience, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, a solid portfolio, and a good sense of visual hierarchy and audience behavior.

As we expand into video and visual storytelling, we're looking for a Thumbnail Designer who understands that a great thumbnail isn't just good design - it makes people stop, get curious, and click.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, sharp, and performance-driven Thumbnail Designer to create compelling thumbnails for YouTube, digital news, and other content platforms. You'll turn stories, headlines, and video ideas into strong visual concepts - combining creativity with an understanding of audience behaviour and click-through performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design eye-catching, high-CTR thumbnails for YouTube and other digital platforms.

Turn stories, headlines, and video concepts into compelling visual ideas.

Use imagery, typography, colour, and composition to create curiosity and drive clicks.

Edit, retouch, and composite images using Photoshop or similar tools.

Create thumbnail variations for testing and optimisation.

Work closely with editorial and content teams in a fast-paced publishing environment.

What We're Looking For

1-3 years of relevant thumbnail or digital media design experience.

Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent tools.

Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, and thumbnail design.

An understanding of what makes audiences stop, notice, and click.

Ability to balance creativity with clarity and performance.

Experience with YouTube channels, digital publishers, news/media companies, or content-led businesses is preferred.

A strong portfolio of thumbnail or similar digital design work.
