Job summary

Scholastic India is seeking an imaginative Graphic Designer for immediate joining to craft visually compelling book covers, posters, social media creatives, and marketing materials. You will ensure brand-aligned layouts and collaborate across editorial and marketing teams.

Ideal candidates possess strong proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with a keen eye for typography, color, and print-ready artwork, plus 0–2 years' experience and a strong portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating design work for books, marketing materials, and digital media.
• 0–2 years of related experience; freshers with strong portfolios are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design book covers, posters, flyers, brochures, social media creatives, and other marketing materials.
• Create layouts and artwork aligned with brand guidelines and project requirements.

• Design book covers, posters, flyers, brochures, social media creatives, and other marketing materials.
• Create layouts and artwork in line with brand guidelines and project requirements.
• Work closely with the editorial, marketing, and other teams to understand design briefs.
• Develop creative concepts and translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all design deliverables.
• Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.
• Prepare artwork for both print and digital use.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Good understanding of layout, typography, colour, and visual composition.
• Knowledge of print production and file preparation will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Creative mindset with good communication and collaboration skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design or a related field preferred.

Experience Required: 0 to 2 years. Freshers with a strong portfolio are also encouraged to apply.
