About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer who has a strong interest in visual design and a basic understanding of book cover design. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator and have a good sense of typography, colors, layouts, and visual composition.

Freshers with a good portfolio and relevant design knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Create creative and visually appealing designs for digital and print requirements.
• Design book covers according to the theme, genre, content, and design guidelines.
• Work on book cover layouts, typography, images, illustrations, and other visual elements.
• Create and edit graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Make design changes based on feedback from the content, publishing, or management team.
• Ensure designs are properly aligned, formatted, and ready for publishing/printing.
• Maintain consistency in fonts, colors, images, and overall brand/design guidelines.
• Resize and modify designs according to different platforms and requirements.
• Organize and maintain design files and source files properly.
• Stay updated with current graphic design and book cover design trends.

Required Skills

• Mandatory knowledge of Book Cover Design.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop OR Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of both is preferred.
• Basic understanding of typography, color combinations, layouts, and visual hierarchy.
• Good creative and visual-thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to understand design briefs and convert ideas into visual designs.
• Good communication and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate/Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates from other educational backgrounds with relevant graphic design skills and a good portfolio may also apply.

Experience

• Fresher to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Freshers must have basic practical knowledge of graphic designing and book cover design.
• Internship/project experience in graphic design or publishing will be an added advantage.
