Parel is a creative and technology agency working at the point where ideas meet execution. From our studio in Kochi and our entity in Singapore, we build brands, websites, apps and campaigns for clients across India, Singapore and beyond. We're a team of around 25 designers, developers, strategists and writers. Our clients include Del Monte, Castrol, Daikin, Ramada, Hilton and more.

The role

You’ll shape how brands look and feel across every surface they touch: identity systems, campaigns, social, web and app graphics, and the occasional thing in print. You’ll work alongside UI/UX, development, content and marketing from the brief onwards, not at the end of the line. That means your ideas shape the work, and you’ll often see them built and shipped by the people sitting next to you.

We use AI seriously, as a way to explore further and move faster, not as a shortcut to average. We want someone who has already built it into their process and has opinions about where it helps and where it doesn’t.

What you’ll do

• Turn briefs into distinctive concepts, then carry them through to polished, platform-ready work
• Build and extend brand identities, including logos, type, colour and the systems that hold them together
• Design social, campaign and digital assets that perform as well as they look
• Create graphics for websites, apps and landing pages in close collaboration with our UI/UX and dev teams
• Use AI tools for exploration, image generation and visualisation, with your own judgement as the final filter
• Present your thinking to the team and, increasingly, to clients

What you bring

• Around three years or more in an agency or studio. A portfolio that proves your ability counts for more than the number.
• Command of Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma. Photography, videography or video editing skills are a plus.
• A strong grasp of typography, composition, colour and hierarchy
• Hands-on experience with AI creative tools, and the taste to know when their output isn’t good enough
• An understanding of the business goal behind a design, not just the visual
• Basic UI/UX sensibility (an advantage)
