Job summary

Magna Steyr in Maharashtra, India, is seeking Graduate Engineer Trainee (Apprentice) to design and develop automotive parts. You will execute CAD tasks in UG NX and Catia, read drawings, and ensure on-time delivery while following defined processes and quality checks.

Reporting to Lead Engineer/Asst. Manager, this fixed-term apprenticeship targets fresh 2024/2025/2026 graduates with strong engineering basics and good communication.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Post Diploma/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering
• Only 2024/2025/2026 pass-outs eligible

Responsibilities

• Execute the CAD tasks (3D & 2D) in required CAD software (UG NX / Catia)
• Reading drawings and basics of plastics
• Ensure daily delivery targets for CAD tasks
• Follow Magna NX/Catia modeling and drawing creation methods
• Follow Magna Steyr processes and customer standards with quality checks
• Understand lead requirements and perform tasks accordingly
• Ensure to follow quality check process for assigned tasks

Responsibilities/ Task

Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority

• Execute the CAD tasks (3D & 2D) in required CAD software (UG NX /Catia)
• Having knowledge of drawing reading & basics of plastics
• Ensure daily delivery targets for given CAD tasks
• Follow defined Methodology for creation of UG NX / Catia models and drawings
• Follow defined Magna Steyr processes, customer standards and maintain quality and follow the lead instructions
• Understand lead requirement, clarify inputs and perform the task accordingly
• Ensure to follow quality check process for the assigned task

• Process compliance 100 %

Educational Qualification

• B.E., in Mechanical or Production or Industrial Engineering (college of technology / university OR
• Post Diploma / Diploma in Mechanical or Production or Industrial Engineering (college of technology / university)
• Only 2024/2025/2026 Pass outs students are Eligible.
